On Starting

I just started a blog. The 5 letter sentence that precedes this is profound. Encapsulated in these 5 words “I just started a blog” are the following;

  1. I achieved a goal I have been putting off for a while.
  2. I choose to be courageous about sharing my thoughts on the world wide web.
  3. I am excited at the opportunity to develop a community of people who work, love and pray excellently, while advancing God’s Kingdom.

I wrote the above to say this “starting is powerful”. Starting something means that we win over fear one more time. Starting means we get to throw our hats in the ring and cease to be onlookers. Win or lose…. starting is good!

So, here’s the start of my blog. I intend to write weekly on seeking God’s kingdom in how we work, love, pray and do everything. Please join me on this journey by checking here regularly.

As for me, I am taking this power of the start and applying it to all domains of my life. No more withering in fear for me.

  1. Very nice write up. I started something I have been afraid to start for a while now. I started exercise. I’m going to put that same attitude into the other things in my life I have been afraid of.


    1. Good Job Zainab on putting your health on the front burner. I also started exercising and eating clean consistently a month ago and I have already lost 6kg. Yes! to taking this momentum to other areas of our lives.
